On April 1st, 2006 Bunjee's McDonough branch hosted

We had 7 teams competing and a total of 18 participants.  From Noon to Midnight we slaved away writing and drawing comics to match the cover art provided by Comics Jam War founder, Nat Gertler.  The inspiration for our stories was an image drawn by comics veteran Paul Smith.  To see the cover and some of the panels sent in by participating teams click over to www.comicsjamwar.com .  After the dust settled only 3 teams managed to complete the task and their works were sent in to be judged for possible inclusion in an anthology that's scheduled to come out in July, 2006.  It was fun, if was frustrating, it was war.
